The holiday cottage is situated 3 miles from the village of Dervaig where you will find a grocery shop, Post office, Pub and a coffee & book shop.
Its a 2 mile drive to Calgary beach. There are several, more private beaches, within walking distance of the house.
The community owned woodland borders Penmore and offers sheltered walking and cycling. We provide 6 mountain bikes for visitors.
Close to the village is the old byre heritage centre and there is an Art gallery at Calgary, both offer teas and lunches.
