5 things to think about

No.1 – Where can i go?  Whats on? and any good forest Tracks?

There are lots of good places to explore and cycle on Mull and many have circular routes, be aware that the isle of Mull has mostly single track roads, in fact 300 miles of mostly single track coastal routes, and all with great views.

There are also many Forestry tracks, some government owned and some which are community owned.

Single track roads can be very busy in July and August progress can be slow

No.2 –  Should I bring my own bike ?

Absolutely, you can take you bike on the ferry and travel with a roof rack or bicycle rack on your car, just be aware you may be asked in some cases to remove the roof rack or bicycles from the roof.

Keen cyclists will always be happier on their own bikes.
Children are safest on their own bicycles.

Yes some places do offer bicycles e.g. Penmore House Self Catering has some adult bikes, usually around 6 available for guests use, in addition they offer use of an infant child carrier fitted to one of the bikes, and an infant tow-behind cycle thingy.
