What will you remember about 2020 ?

Here on Mull, lockdown has been tough, but I suppose its just the same as everywhere else,
most noticeably the island of Mull has been unusually quiet.

A good community spirit evolved as everyone pulled together and looked out for one another.

Most of the time we were outside keeping ourselves busy on the farm,
however I think we will remember 2020 for quite different reasons.
It was the year we saw Orca (killer whale) !
We had a close encounter with bottle nose dolphins, we saw otters and eagles, deer on the lawn.
wild flowers in abundance, and it was an amazing year for sightings of butterflies and moths.
We had great weather with long settled spells which offered perfect conditions for walking in the hills.
and lots splendid isolation walking on the beach.

As Mull opens up again slowly, Self catering Holiday accommodation is looking like a good option.

The accommodation we offer is subject to a deep cleaning regime, Its a full day cleaning and preparation which includes fogging down the house after visitors leave, followed by a deep clean, duvets are swapped / rotated over with a spare set. mattress / pillow covers are removed and washed and replaced with fresh clean set. Fogging again before new visitors arrive.
